Message from the Director

 Welcome to Riffa Views International School

Riffa Views International School opened its doors to students on September 3, 2008. The vision created by our founding Director, Mr. Bruce McWilliams, took root the moment the doors sprung open.  The faculty of RVIS are pioneers.  They are seeking the kind of quality and distinctive school which parents and teachers alike want for their children, but few schools are able to create.  They truly care about every student and believe all students can be successful.  They eagerly design lessons to engage the mind and challenge the soul to be creative and critical thinkers.  They take advantage of the rich technological resources to enhance student learning experiences.  They want students to work collaboratively to solve relevant global issues within our school community which embraces respect and understanding of different cultures.  The diverse international flavour of the student body enables our community to represent global perspectives on issues.  Most importantly however, students and teachers have fun while learning at RVIS. 

From rigorous academic programs, to creative arts programs, to developmentally appropriate curricular and extra-curricular sports programs, to service learning and leadership programs where students learn to give back to those less fortunate, RVIS is a distinctive learning experience.

Our rapidly expanding enrolment is evidence that Bahrain’s newest educational secret is beginning to leak out.  RVIS challenges students academically, stimulates them creatively, and supports them emotionally. Wherever your child’s interests or talents lead them, RVIS will help them to develop the skills and attitudes required to find success in the future.
