2010 READING CHALLENGE

How many books do you think you can read between Jan. 1, 2010 and June 20, 2010?  The librarian, students, and teachers are setting their goals and reading, reading, reading.  If you want to join us, here is how it works.

*Set a goal.  Make it realistic.  There is no prize at the end for the most books read.  Just set a goal that you think you can meet.

*Come in and get your picture taken for our Reading Challenge display.

*Keep a log of books read.   Choose the recording method best for you.
          *Journal
          *Blog
          *Typed page
*Handwritten on notebook paper.  Use your best handwriting!

*Be sure to include the title and author’s name, as well as a 2 or 3 sentence reflection about the book.

*Once a month, bring a copy of your list to the library for us to put by your picture.  We can all have a look at what is being read and get some good ideas.  Books do not have to be from our library.
