rvis Tuition & School Fees - 2010/2011
Riffa Views International School is an independent, not-for-profit organization and its operating costs are met from the tuition fees. These fees are set each year by the school's Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees have determined that the fees and tuition for the 2010/2011 school year for Pre-K through Grade 7 will not be increased.
Application Fee
The completed application packet must be accompanied by a registration fee of BD50; if it is in the form of a check it should be made payable to "Riffa Views International School."

Tuition Payment Schedules
A NON-REFUNDABLE Tuition Deposit of 10% of the 2010/2011 tuition is required to reserve a place in Riffa Views International School which will be credited to the student's account.

BOOK/RESOURCE DEPOSIT
A REFUNDABLE Book/Resource Deposit of BD50 is required for each new student at the time he/she enrolls at Riffa Views International School. The Book Deposit will be refunded when the child leaves RVIS permanently provided all books and resources have been returned in good condition.
Method of Payment of Tuition Fees
Payment must be made by check to our accounts office payable in Bahraini Dinars to "Riffa Views International School." Please include a copy of your invoice with the check. Cash will also be accepted. Payment can also be made by bank wire transfer.
Tuition and Book Deposit for the entire school year are due and payable prior to the first day of school. For students enrolling after the start of the school year, tuition will be assessed on a prorated basis after the end of September. Tuition is inclusive of textbooks (which are loaned to the student), but exclusive of uniforms. For students enrolling with RVIS prior to November 1 of the current school year, the financial obligation may be fulfilled by making payments in two equal installments. The first installment is due prior to the start of the school year. The second installment is payable via a post-dated check for January 15. Students enrolling after November 1, must pay the balance of the full annual tuition.

Book Deposit
The Book Deposit of BD50 will be refunded at the time the student withdraws, providing all books are return to the school and in good condition.
Other Expenses
RVIS tuition does not cover the school uniform, PE uniform, bus transportation, or lunch. Students may either bring their lunch from home, or they may purchase their lunch in the school cafeteria.
Students Who Withdraw Before the First Day of Class
If written notification to withdraw a student is received by RVIS BEFORE the first day of classes, this enrollment contract will be terminated. In the event of such termination, RVIS will retain the non-refundable Registration Fee and the Tuition Deposit of 10% of the tuition, but the person(s) assuming financial obligation under this contract shall not have any further financial responsibility.
Tuition Refund
Tuition for the first semester is NON-REFUNDABLE after the first day of attendance of the student. Tuition for the second semester is refundable providing ALL of the following conditions are met:
The student covered by the fees withdraws from RVIS prior to or by the end of the first semester.
The withdrawing student will no longer be residing in Bahrain and
Prior to the second semester, a new student enrolls in the same grade level to fill the space vacated by the withdrawing student. When all of these conditions are met, a full refund of the tuition for the SECOND SEMESTER will be made.
Partial Refund
If conditions 1 and 2 are met and a new student enrolls to fill the vacancy only AFTER the start of the second semester, a partial refund of the tuition will be made for the second semester. The amount of the refund will equal the total amount of the tuition received by RVIS for the student filling that vacancy. This amount is a pro-rated amount for the second semester dependent upon the date of enrollment of the new student.
The school reserves the right to withhold student grade reports, or recommendations if specified tuition and fees are not paid when due. In addition, the school reserves the right not to permit a student to attend class if tuition and fees are in arrears.
